Prince Caspian

I am a fan of C.S. Lewis, expecially the Narnia series. I have read them many times and look forward to my daughter being old enough to read them to her. Heck, I'd even read them to your kids!

My wife and kids treated me to the movie and I would recommend it. I'd even go see it again.

As will all movies I see I look for life lessons, morals, etc. Off the top of my head I came up with the following:

  • It does not take much “fame” for us to get too full of ourselves. Then we get in our own way of being useful to others and even ourselves. We even miss out on the help we may need.
  • True humility is where the real strength is.
  • We need to be looking for help if we expect to find it.
  • The help we are expecting is not always the help we get or what we need.
  • When we get impatient waiting for what is truly best it will cost us and others.

Aslan Rules!
